What Shotsy offers

According to its store description, Shotsy logs weekly injections and daily pills, side effects, weight, calories, protein and water, draws an estimated medication level chart and works with Apple Health. It says data is stored on the device and synced between devices with iCloud. It is available in 17 languages.

Shotsy is a strong option. People who look for an alternative usually want one of these: the same record on Android and iPhone, an app that works without an account, prices in their local currency, or an app built around a language other than English.

What Haftra offers

  • Free dose log: date, time, site, dose, device and note. The dose interval is entered as your prescriber set it, from 1 to 90 days.
  • Free site rotation: six sites (right and left abdomen, thigh and upper arm); it remembers the last one and shows the next.
  • Free pen and vial stock: doses left and an in-use expiry countdown. These safety warnings are never paid.
  • Free cost tracking: cost per dose, per month and per year from your box price.
  • No account needed: without an account, records stay on your phone. With an account they are backed up on a server in the EU and synced between iPhone and Android.
  • With Haftra+: estimated medication level curve, weekly comparison report, one-page PDF summary for doctor appointments and a pharmacy refill reminder.
  • Platforms: iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch on the App Store; Android phones on Google Play. The Apple Watch app is iOS only.
  • Languages: English, Turkish, German, Spanish, French and Arabic.

Haftra is a tracker, not a medical device. It does not recommend a dose or set an interval; it records the plan your prescriber gave. The medication level curve is a model based on published half-lives, not a blood measurement.

Which one fits whom?

  • You use both iPhone and Android: pick an app that syncs through an account. In Haftra, the same account shows the same record on both.
  • You do not want an account: Haftra works without one. You can test any other app with the checklist in GLP-1 tracker without an account.
  • You want the most widely used app: Shotsy and MeAgain have the most ratings.
  • You want photo-based meal logging: Pep and MeAgain describe photo food logging in their store pages; in Haftra it is Haftra AI, part of Haftra+, and needs an account.
  • You read Turkish or Arabic: Haftra and Shotsy are listed in both; Pep is listed in Arabic.
